In depth

Verdict

Mon Storm won three times on the track last summer and though well beaten on his reappearance at Gowran last month will be a different proposition here. Chasing Abbey disappointed at Roscommon on Monday but Ellie Mac looked on the way back to form behind Abraham at Bellewstown. Bua Boy attracted good support at Galway last week and though racing over a longer trip under a penalty looks a threat to all though the vote goes to the four-year-old INSANE BOLT. Gordon Elliott's charge landed a 2m2f Downpatrick handicap and was only beaten a couple of lengths when stepped-up to 2m5f at Tramore.
