Verdict

Winning bumper and hurdler Thomas Edison attracted some support for the Galway Hurdle but was well beaten and though Pirate Cove started odds-on favourite for a 7f maiden at Galway she finished last of the seven runners. MADAM MO has been running into decent performers and was conceding 3lb to Jan Van Eyck when runner-up at Wexford. The winner has since win a better race so the form should be good enough for this. Razia is an interesting debutant for John Oxx who won this in 2011.
