Shantou Flyer had run well over this trip at Cork before gaining a comfortable victory over Pennys Tune, who runs in the previous race, when stepped up to 2m6f at Downpatrick. It's a surprise to see him dropping back to the minimum and a chance is taken that SANTO PRINCE can outpace him. Gordon Elliott's youngster caught the eye on fast going at Down Royal last time and his only victory on Turf for Michael Bell came on heavy going. The Mooch was fortunate to score at Wexford then failed to stay 2m4f there next time while Who Let De Dogsout ran very poorly at Navan after scoring over 2m4f at Clonmel.
