This is tricky with the field having only had ten runs over hurdles between them but PATRICKS HILL shaped with definite promise when a fast-finishing third at Roscommon on hurdling debut and just about sets the standard with the prospect of more to come. Dads Lad is not a Willie Mullins star but ran a solid race first time over timber last time at Downpatrick and seems sure to be in the shake-up along with hurdling newcomer, Sadie's Pride, a battling winner of a Tramore bumper when last seen in the summer. Seaforth Mancy has place claims and Sevenna Star is undoubtedly worth a market check as we surely haven't seen the best of him yet over an obstacle.
