In depth
Verdict
Ruse is exposed but has the form to go close here, however High Ambition has more scope for improvement and gets the verdict, Mighty Kitchener may do best of the others. The selection showed little in a couple of bumpers before displaying plenty of promise on his all-weather debut at Wolverhampton. He was quietly fancied on that occasion and after showing plenty of inexperience he should come on a bundle. The Mighty Kitchener finished three lengths in front of High Ambition in that contest but lacks any scope and with normal improvement our choice should reverse the form. Ruse has had plenty of chances but appears genuine enough and rarely gets beaten far. Once again she should be on the premises. Scaramouscha is another that should step up on a promising debut run, but on this occasion we will side with High Ambition.
