BEDLOE'S ISLAND had his first start on the all-weather since 2008 when making his Fibresand debut over track and trip last month. He beat Equitania, Royal Bajan and Silken Express in that order with Even Stevens and Khawatim further behind. There should be more to come from Alan McCabe's charge on this surface and he can go in again. The admirable Tax Free is also lightly-raced on the all-weather and scored at Kempton last time with Royal Bajan well beaten. He has claims on that form if proving suited to the Fibresand, but Prohibit hasn't looked the force of old this year, though he has slipped 18lb down the weights as a consequence.
