Verdict
Dasar can go well at a price, and gets the call over Wizard of Us, Smart Scot and Sorbiesharry, with Dante's Devine included in calculations. Jockeyship is always a major factor in these type of events, and with Danny Tudhope on board, hopes are high that Dasar can prevail. Mel Brittain's charge had been knocking on the door in this company in the spring, but was given a summer break after her form tailed off, and she certainly caught the eye on her return from a four month break, beating all bar Reversionary over the course and distance three weeks ago. She led at one point, and should go close again here. Wizard of Us won over seven furlongs at Ayr in October and probably found the trip too much when trying to make all over 10 furlongs at Wolverhampton. The drop back to a mile may prove beneficial, and he is one for the short-list as well. Smart Scot goes well here but has been out of form, while Sorbiesharry hails from a stable that pays to follow at this time of the year. Dante's Devine has been in good form on Turf but has not shaped well in two previous visits here. However, he must not be ruled out either, but we are happy to side with Dasar.
