        Verdict

        Dixieland Boy is nominated ahead of Enthralled and Mustammer. The selection is a long-standing maiden but has shaped as if a small race is within his compass and in truth, he would not have to show too much improvement in order to take a hand here. Enthralled has to be respected as an inmate of the Sir Mark Prescott stable. There is plenty of speed in the pedigree and the market is watched. Mustammer has often been the subject of support but followers of Derek Shaw's charge have succeeded only in burning their fingers. Et Dona Ferentes put up a career best on her latest start. Villa Bianca's is potentially open to improvement and should not be discounted. Dixieland Boy has the form to win this and is given as the percentage call.
