    In depth

    Verdict

The short list here contains Dan Tucker, Gold Response, My Sara and Muree Queen, with the selection being Dan Tucker. Dan Tucker looked an improved performer when returning for the season with a Kempton win last time and a six-pounds rise looks to understate his ability so he looks to be a leading player today. It will be interesting to see how My Sara copes with the step up in trip, while Intensifier has shown little so far but is bred for today's trip, which he encounters for the first time. Gold Response has been knocking at the door and holds place claims again, while Marju's Gold has shown very little in three runs but is another that should appreciate today's trip. Bollin Felix is another to need today's trip, while Muree Queen is improving, although that recent improvement has come in sellers, and recent form at that level sees her closely weighted with Skye But N Ben. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Dan Tucker.
