Verdict
Neville Callaghan's Silent Memory is more open to improvement than most of these and coming here from a recent third over course and distance will be a popular choice to go two better. Michael Chapman's Bid Spotter is 5lb worse in for the one and a half lengths that he beat George Gibbons' mount and has run below par since, but can't be entirely discounted. Millkom Elegance could be interesting if able to translate turf form to the all-weather, as could the Tim Easterby-trained Proud Protector.
