    Verdict

Big Generator only won a claimer at Worcester last time and this is much tougher but Brave Spartacus landed a Listed contest over fences on his latest start and is better treated over timber. Champagne Present hasn't raced since March but is lightly raced and should have plenty more to offer this season while Songsmith won at Kempton in April and has been going well on the Flat. PAOLOZZI couldn't complete the hat-trick at Stratford but was trying to give weight to a very progressive novice and was still clear of the remainder. Given he's unexposed, he doesn't look badly treated on his handicap debut and can get back on track.
