Verdict
BALLYMOAT would have lost his maiden tag under Rules at Newcastle last month but for a last-fence fall. To add insult to injury he's been raised 3lb but his rider's claim takes care of that and compensation awaits. Jewellery gained an easy victory over the course and distance last month then didn't appear to stay and extended three miles at Fakenham. Back over this trip, she looks certain to go close while the champion jockey's presence on board O'Callaghan Strand suggests Jonjo O'Neill's charge is ready for a return to form. Gold Ingot has only run twice over fences but last month's second to Saints And Sinners at Doncaster would be good enough to make the frame.
