        In a very open handicap a chance is taken with , True To Yourself, Trickstep and Freddie Freccles are put forward as serious rivals. James Given's gelding landed a banded event over course and distance early last month and hasn't been disgraced in similar company since. He looks very fairly treated for his return to handicapping and must have a sporting chance. Gay Kellaway's Trickstep who was well beaten into second spot by Nantucket Sound last time, comes into the argument on his three length fourth behind Red Skelton in a similar race to this at Wolverhampton back in November. Meanwhile Freddie Freccles, a stable companion of the selection, merits close consideration following two excellent efforts in this sort of company. In a wide open affair Stavmoor also has the ability to go close here, but True To Yourself looks on a fair mark and just edges the decision.
