Verdict
A wide open handicap rounds off the card with very little between many of the leading fancies but the principals look to be Crusoe, Piccleyes and Mission Affirmed and the vote is given to Piccleyes. The selection was a fair third last time out behind Gone ¿n¿ Dunnett doing all her best work at the finish. She will appreciate the step up in trip and she is sure to strip fitter here so she will be hard to beat. Crusoe rates the main danger on his latest win over Siraj but he has a six pound penalty for that win and never runs two races the same so he is passed over on this occasion. Mission Affirmed is another worthy of respect now he returns to this surface as he still looks to be on a fair mark but he may just need the run after a three month break and for that reason he is opposed. Zariano was a fair second in a claimer behind Fiveoclock Express last time and although this looks tougher he has definite place claims with his yard in top form. Of the remainder Barzak remains on a handy mark and should be noted in the market but for the winner we return to Piccleyes.
