      Verdict

      Maharashtra has now won four of his last six outings having won by a neck over 1m4f here a week ago. He carries 5lb extra in this higher grade but MORLAIX (NAP) drops back down in class. Beaten in Class 2 company last time, David Simcock’s charge went close over today’s trip at this level before that and is also preferred to Hector's Here. The latter has a shout on an earlier third at Wolverhampton but the remainder are harder to recommend in their current form.
