In depth

Verdict

La Brigitte may be worth another chance back on the fibresand and her form ties in closely with Carmanjoe whilst Aunt Nicola and BA Globetrotter merit respect. The selection finished behind Carmanjoe when both made their debuts over this course and distance at the start of May. She was three quarters of a length behind but really caught the eye with a strong finish having been outpaced and may be able to reverse the form this afternoon. Both the selection and Carmanjoe went on to run poorly on turf but their proven form at this track puts them right in the picture. Mick Channon and Michael Bell have both made excellent starts to the season with their juveniles and market confidence behind either, or both, of their runners should be taken seriously. We're going to side with experience though and select La Brigitte.
