In depth

Verdict

This is an above-average bumper for the track and Ballyhill sets a decent standard on his best form, though is more exposed than his rivals. Dubai Angel only found one too good in both starts last year at Market Rasen and Kelso. Conteur d'Histoire and Or De Vassy are newcomers worth a market check while Pampanini was joint favourite when fourth on her second start at Newton Abbot in April. NEW MEMBER was almost 10 lengths ahead of Ballyhill when third on his debut at Ludlow in March in a race that's produced plenty of winners. Tom Lacey's Alhaarth gelding looks the one to be on here.
