      Verdict

      Kevin Ryan has his string in fine form right now so there is bound to be plenty of support for Peter's Gift, who was narrowly beaten by Fazbee at Lingfield last time and he does have winning course and distance form so has to be respected, but a better bet looks to be MISS BOOTYLISHES, who gets the vote ahead of Lilly Grove, Alan Swinbank's mare has yet to win a race but she has shown promise in all three starts and the daughter of Mtoto looks reasonably well treated for her debut in a handicap. David Barron's runners here always warrant respect and Borasco is no exception having gone well here over a mile last time. The drop to seven furlongs should not inconvenience the five-year-old and she makes more appeal than Kevin Ryan's other runner in the race, Freya's Flight, who is unexposed after just four starts but needs to improve on what she showed on her first start in a handicap at Wolverhampton last time. Several of these have claims but Miss Bootylishes has stronger claims than most and she looks the one to beat.
