        Verdict

        Poetic Affair is a possible improver for the switch to the all-weather. Stay In The Light started joint favourite on her debut at Wolverhampton 12 days ago but never looked like winning and eventually finished last. Only a pound separates DAWN DANCER (NAP) and Kripke according to the handicapper and both have experience on the surface. They can fight out the finish but the vote just goes to Andrew Balding’s charge as his likely market rival has shown his best form so far over 7f. Princess Noora is making her debut but she is a half-sister to five winners so worth a market check.
