      Verdict

      Polesworth gets the confident vote with Grand Girl, Metolica and Den Perry rating the main dangers. The selection won well last time out when beating Vitorioso and although he has a penalty for that win he is taken to defy the handicapper in what looks an easier race. Grand Girl rates the main danger on her latest fifth behind Tiger Dawn but that was 170 days ago and she may just need the run. Metolica is another worthy of respect on her latest fifth behind Sweet Potato as that form has since been franked. She is one of the least exposed in the field and should be noted in the market. Of the remainder Den Perry showed a glimmer of ability when seventh behind Ba Clubman last time and could go well at a price but that effort still leaves him with a little to find and for the winner we return to Polesworth.
