        Verdict

        Sugar Hiccup has got her act together over hurdles this year, no doubt helped by the fast ground. But she was 11lb well-in when scoring at Fontwell last time and has to race off an 18lb higher mark today including a penalty. It could pay to take her on with DUCHESS THEATRE, a runner-up over track and trip last month when finishing clear of the third. Mick Easterby's mare gets the nod ahead if Hi Tide, who was pulled-up in testing ground here last time but should figure on today's going. Deny is facing a tougher task under a penalty for last week's narrow-margin victory at Sedgefield.
