      Verdict

      Clockmaker finished ahead of Ythan Waters when runner-up here last week. He should be in the firing-line once again but PATRIOTIC tumbled down the weights last year and gets the nod in this back on a winning mark with Silvestre De Sousa doing the steering. Princess Peaches won a maiden race over track and trip last time having been beaten in handicaps off today's mark earlier while Tartan Trip is struggling for form and both of Harwoods Star's earlier victories on the Fibresand came over 5f.
