A competitive contest gets proceedings underway and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Byo, Town House and Freshwinds and the vote is given to Byo. The selection was a fair second behind Blue Moon last time out in a claimer. That form has since been franked and off what looks a fair mark from a good draw he is taken to score. Town House rates the main danger on his latest third behind Lady Hopeful, he has a good draw for a frontrunner and will not be far away. However, he will probably be taken on for the lead and he is opposed for that reason. Freshwinds is another that could go well on his latest second behind Boanarges but that form has since been let down. Muktasb is from a yard in form and could go well at a price while Mystery Pips is well in on his best form but may just need the run after a 104 day absence and for the winner we return to Byo.
