      Verdict

      Rated 80, AURIFEROUS has leading claims back in novice company. Andrew Balding’s charge was narrowly beaten in a handicap at Chester back in September and can make a winning reappearance. Tiger Jet debuted on Flat with a second over 1m2f at Newcastle and this longer trip will suit though Strong Glance is rated higher over timber and makes a belated debut in this code. Nature ran poorly at Lingfield last time but fared better here on an earlier introduction.
