Verdict

HEROSTATUS is developing with each run as is Honest Strike and they were both separated by a neck in second and third behind Palio Square last time on the all-weather at Wolverhampton. Although a different surface to face today, Herostatus gets the vote to confirm those placings and grab the win. Mark Johnston has a 27% record here this year on the artificial and can secure another winner with Herostatus. A danger may be John Gosden's Strictly Lambada, as the trainer has a 3-4 record with entries here this year. Bombadero should have lost his maiden tag by now but is looking exposed whilst the expensive Gakalina could also be a threat if coming on for two runs so far.
