        Verdict

        Contingency Fee bounced back to form with a wide-margin success over track and trip last week with Sociologist well behind. But he remains unpredictable and had earlier finished a long way behind third-placed Princess Harley here, though the latter also failed to threaten on that occasion. GOING NATIVE recorded her only win so far over track and trip back in March but a neck defeat here last month suggests another bold bid is on the cards and she gets the vote. Angel Lane was no match for a winner rated 77 over a mile at the track last time and may do better over this longer trip now handicapping.
