Golden Ambition looked in need of experience at Lingfield and should be suited by dropping back in trip. Kioto Sun made a promising bumper debut at Ffos Las last October and was returning from a long lay-off when a good third over timber there last month. Royal Thunder's opening run at Uttoxeter showed potential and he was performing in stronger company at Ascot when unseating his rider. Catterick bumper winner Tedtwo has moved yards and makes his hurdling debut but this can go to SMURFETTE (NAP), who showed real promise in two bumpers before catching the eye on her hurdling debut behind an odds-on chance at Warwick when beaten less than five lengths.
