In depth
Verdict
Capital Lass, Rocky Reppin and Vancouver Gold are the three to look at here with Capital Lass the selection. Rocky Reppin is not well treated at the weights, but in these low grade affairs it often pays to go with a horse in form, and Rocky Reppin certainly is on the evidence of his latest run, just being touched off in a non seller last time. He is a winner over the course and distance and can reach the frame at a big price. Vancouver Gold was a beaten favourite in a similar race two outings ago and is going through a bad spell. He is well treated on his best form, but he has not re-produced it recently and is passed over. Last time out winner Wodhill Be is respected but has a tough task at the weights while Capital Lass is thoroughly consistent and has a leading chance. She won a couple of small races over the course and distance before running respectably in decent handicaps, and looks the safest conveyance for your money. Capital Lass looks the main attraction here.
