        Verdict

        In the second race, Egyptian Lord is selected ahead of Garlogs and Stoneacre Boy. Garlogs is six pounds better off for three lengths with Egyptian Lord based on recent course and distance form. The latter, though, who remains progressive and has won two of his last three races, gets the nod again. Hornpipe looks held on the form of that race. Anfield Dream would hold a good chance if being able to recapture his best 2006 form, and Sands Crooner has been consistent enough from around today's mark to be given some thought but Princess Cleo is possibly one to watch for the future following an absence. The likes of Kempsey need to find some improvement while Cerebus might be better over further. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Egyptian Lord.
