Verdict
Sir Geoffrey was recording his fourth course and distance victory since December when scoring under today's apprentice on Tuesday. He has 6lb extra to carry today while Royal Bajan is 6lb higher than when winning at Wolverhampton in December. O'Gorman went close on his only previous start here and Sleepy Blue Ocean recorded a narrow-margin victory over track and trip in January when POWERFUL WIND finished fourth. Re-opposing on better terms, the latter gets the vote to come out best today and can land this. Pabusar has shown no improvement for his slide down the weights and it remains to be seen if he can do any better on this surface.
