A 10lb rise for Piceno's earlier win at Catterick seemed a bit harsh and so it proved when he was beaten eight lengths back at the same track last time. Elspeth's Boy has claims if taking to the surface but the proven course form of ONLY TEN PER CENT should stand him in good stead. He's won three times over track and trip this year and is only 2lb higher than his latest win in July. Avonrose is dual course winner and not badly weighted for her return to the Fibresand and Opus Dei's best recent effort came over 6f at this track. Minortransgression is another with claims back on the Fibresand.
