Verdict
Vancouver Gold, Priorina and King Forever are the three that catch the eye, and we will give a tentative vote to King Forever. Don Cantillon's four-year-old found the trip at Wolverhampton last time stretching his stamina and is better judged on his previous effort over course and distance. He had a bad draw and got going very late but still finished just five lengths behind the winner Justcallmehandsome. If everything drops right today he will be hard to beat. Vancouver Gold landed a similar race to this over course and distance and is well in on official ratings, he will be hard to keep out of the frame. Priorina was second in a competitive handicap here in December and may have needed last Friday's outing at Wolverhampton, she could reach the frame at a decent price. Far Note and Ballyrush may do best of the remainder, but King Forever is back over his best trip and can oblige.
