Verdict

Justcallmepete rattled up a four-timer over shorter trips before finding Zip too good over course and distance. The latter has every chance again with an apprentice’s allowance in his favour though may be taken on for the lead this time by Street Kid, who has been competing in tougher contests than this. But a fast pace should play into the hands of FARASI LANE (NAP), who ran well behind the progressive odds-on favourite Unforgotten over a mile last time having slipped back down to a winning mark. Perseverants beat Jilly Cooper at Wolverhampton two runs ago but both Phantasy Mac and Persuasion return from lay-offs.
