Verdict
In a very ordinary maiden we side with course form and WING DIVA ahead of Musashi and Augustus John. The selection showed much improvement on her second career start over course and distance last time and looked a sort who can progress again. She's also from a yard in form and who have a good record here in recent weeks and she seems most likely. Musashi has been running with credit, but to limited success, in handicap company but is already at the limits of his rating in that sphere. This drop into maiden company will definitely aid him but the lack of course or soft ground form is a concern. Augustus John takes a big step up in trip on recent efforts that have been over six furlongs to a mile. He's been solid enough in those, though the form-lines are shaky, and he will stay but he's too much of an enigma at the moment to back with confidence. In a race that's not straight forward by any means we go with Wing Diva.
