Verdict
Sam Spade took advantage of a slide down the weights to score over a mile here last week and carries a penalty. All Right Now had performed a similar trick when successful over track and trip last month but has subsequently been beaten off today's higher mark. Bladewood Girl went close again at this venue last time having won at Kempton earlier and Red Invader is not easily overlooked if taking to the surface. KALITHEA is another racing on Fibresand for the first time after a close-up second at Wolverhampton on her handicap bow. She may just edge this for Julie Camacho's yard, which has been in decent form on the all-weather this year.
