      Verdict

      Sleet finished second in a lowly handicap here last week but Va Benny's placed effort in a maiden over track and trip last month looks stronger form. GLORIOUS STAR was also placed in maiden company when third at this venue on his debut. The runner-up Pearl Princess has since bolted up and Ed Walker's charge gets the vote on that form. Interconnection was well backed on his comeback at Wolverhampton but lost his chance when hampered close home and will be looking to make amends in this.
