        Garnock Valley Grand old servant to connections who although has not won over 7f for nearly two years is always a threat in this grade.

        Marengo More of a 6f specialist (never won over 7f) but acts on this course and should be around at the finish; very consistent.

        Bratby (IRE) Finished plum last on his last four outings; wooden spoon prospects again.

        Cool Prospect Can run the occasional good race but recent runs don't give any cause for optimism.

        Diamond Decorum (IRE) Has picked up a couple of decent handicaps on turf on his day but seems to have lost interest in his racing these days; no apparent chance.

        Polar Lady Never usually far away and will win in this grade at some point; fit and should go well today.

        Ring The Chief Course and distance winner who could go well today at a decent price; ran well here in January over a mile (weakening inside the final furlong;)

        San Michel (IRE) Poor selling plater; in his class today but still outclassed.

        Superapparos Well held by Marengo on running here on Monday; no real hopes.
