In depth

Verdict

A regular at Newcastle, JEWEL MAKER (NAP) had looked high enough in the weights at the latter track before making a winning debut on the Fibresand. Tim Easterby’s charge looks worth sticking with at this venue and is preferred to novice winner Reaction Time, who won over 7f here. Star Of St James landed a double here in January but could only manage fourth last time and Snow Ocean also has something to prove off his current mark with Daafr making more appeal having just missed out when last racing over course and distance.
