In depth

Verdict

Reversionary, Tancred Miss and Sion Hill look the three to concentrate on in the finale and the vote is given to Sion Hill. The selection hasn't always looked the most genuine, but he did nothing wrong in defeat when just swamped close to the line when a close fourth behind Sriology at Leicester last time. The drop in trip should suit and compensation could await for his supporters here. Reversionary has run well on each of his last two runs without being quite good enough, and that pattern looks set to continue again. Tancred Miss beat our selection on her last start but she rarely runs two races alike and she will have to run right up to her best to confirm those placings here. Gem Bien has shown signs that his busy winter campaign is catching up with him and may benefit from a break, and we will stick with Sion Hill as our idea of the winner.
