      Verdict

      PERCYTHEPINTO drops into this grade for the first time and can finally break his duck. He was sent off favourite for a nursery over 7f here last week so was clearly expected to improve on previous runs and, though only third, is the clear pick on official ratings today and can confirm that form with fifth Samasana. Malvesi doesn't appear to be improving while Dutchman's Field and River Nova are already exposed at this level, but it's possible Notnowstanley may improve a little for the fitting of blinkers.
