In depth

Verdict

CHARLIE FELLOWES carries a double penalty having returned a wide-margin winner at both Beverley and Wolverhampton. But an apprentice takes 7lb off his back and he’ll take the beating if handling the surface. A Pint Of Bear won over the minimum trip here and is preferred to Professor Galant, who struggled on the Fibresand before placing at Wolverhampton. Princess Of Lir made a promising debut at the latter track but the remaining pair are harder to recommend.
