MRS BUN gets the vote in the last ahead of the likes of Guildenstern and Ugenius. The unexposed selection has put in her best performances at this track in her fledgling career including the last run where she was a winner in a similar contest over distance. She's been raised five pounds for that maiden victory in first time cheekpeices and there should be enough improvement for the extra burden not to be too much of a concern. Guildenstern was a winner at Wolverhampton over this trip last time and has been raised two pounds for that effort. That small hurdle has been hard to overcome for this one in recent times and he is yet to prove his talent on the surface. He must be respected on his old form but the selection looks too progressive for him this time. Ugenius has been knocking hard on the door in his last few runs with a string of runners-up spots. The penultimate of which came over course and distance, so no problems with the surface, but the handicapper hasn't helped by raising him to a career high mark. Kingsmaite's consistent form gives him place chances but the vote belongs to Mrs Bun.
