        Verdict

        Neven improved out of all recognition last time out to score tidily over today's course and distance. If reproducing that form he looks well handicapped with only six pounds more to carry. His chief rival, if taking to this surface, will be Omaimah who showed promise when with Ed Dunlop and looks open to plenty of improvement. Rudik is slowly slipping down the weights and has a touch of class about him but he has not shown good enough recent form to be considered here. If this race was at Lingfield then Golden Brief would be a short price favourite, however he has yet to prove he acts on this track and may be best left alone here.
