SPACECRAFT is in fine shape at present and followed his first career success on this C&D last month with a very good run behind Mataajir on a return visit on New Year's Day. He easily holds Very Well Red on that victory and will probably find Fearless Poet giving him more trouble. Bryan Smart's charge has become expensive to follow having been a beaten favourite in his last three starts but the last two were over 7f and he's better at this trip. St Ignatius is slowly coming down the weights and those who backed him here last week will be looking for compensation.
