      Verdict

      MYSTIC BLAZE (NAP) is getting closer and was not beaten far here in November when six lengths ahead of the third-placed horse. Andrew Balding's charge is well clear of Clive Clifton in the ratings and gets the nod. Wings Of Esteem was a well beaten runner-up over track and trip on her debut but still makes more appeal than Indigo Princess and Ronaldjamessach though Shulammite is a newcomer to a note for Alan Swinbank.
