Verdict

Mr Mercurial was a big disappointment when odds-on here last month and is best watched on this occasion. Grandioso won at Kempton before finishing third at Cheltenham and arrives in good heart but so does Nowurhurlin, though the Perth runner-up does look held by Steve Flook's nine-year-old on collateral form. WEST END hasn't raced since September and has his first run in a hunter chase. He's also making his debut for Kim Smyly but won't be far away if fully wound-up as he has his ground.
