In depth

Verdict

SMUGGLER’S BLUES’ frustrating run of placed efforts continued when third at Haydock. But that was in a tougher contest than this and Tom George’s charge gets another back at this level. Ballycross has struggled of late and a conditional takes 7lb off his back while That's A Given is back up in distance after finishing runner-up at Market Rasen. Licklighter moves in the opposite direction having disappointed over 2m last time and the remaining pair are hard to recommend on recent form.
