Verdict
RESIDENCY had to race wide over C&D on his latest start and ran much better than his finishing position suggests. From a better draw here and a similar effort, Bryan Smart's gelding should go close. He gets the vote ahead of Black Baccara who, like most of these, is hard to win with but usually runs a solid race. Your Gifted has had just the two outings since a summer lay-off and better is expected, with Grand Palace another expected to improve for a recent comeback run.
