Monsieur Pontaven scored at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago, but was well beaten on his only previous start on the Fibresand and FEARLESS POET makes more appeal. The latter was sent off favourite only his second outing of the year when runner-up over a mile here last month and Bryan Smart's charge can make amends in this company. Spacecraft has a bit to find with the selection on latest running and St Ignatius looks a bigger threat if back to his best, as he won off a higher mark here early this year. Like A Boy has a chance on his past form with a 7lb claimer helping his cause today.
