    Verdict

Majehar is the pick over Mademoiselle and Connotation, with Vibrato also not without an outside chance. Majehar has so far gained two wins from 23 career starts, both victories coming at Kempton, but his latest effort here 17-days ago was most encouraging. Beaten a neck at the finish with a rival rated 9lb superior back in third, he need only run up to that mark to go close again in this company. Mademoiselle is fitted with first-time cheekpieces in a bid to end a sequence of placings on the Polytrack surfaces of Lingfield and Wolverhampton. She has turned out here before and merits a mention along with Connotation who has not won for two years but who is well handicapped. Vibrato is a past course-and-distance winner who now has a visor and tongue-tie applied. That may help his cause, but our preference is for Majehar.
